Our Home (published in 1943)

Nosso Lar is the name of the Spiritual Colony that André Luiz presents to us in this first book of his own. In a vibrant narrative, the author conveys his observations and discoveries about life in the Spiritual World, acting as a reporter who records his own experiences. He reveals to us a pulsating world, full of life and activities, organized in an exemplary way, where disembodied Spirits go through stages of recovery and spiritual education supervised by Superior Spirits. Nosso Lar allows us to foresee the Spiritual World that awaits us, when we leave the carnal body through physical death.

The Messengers (published February 26, 1944)

This book reveals that physical death reveals a spiritual life in continuous evolution. In 51 chapters, it recounts the experiences of several spirits who reincarnated with programmed work, necessary for their own improvement.
It also deals with topics such as: the worship of the Gospel in the Home, the benefits of practicing good, lack of vigilance and fear of death. The spiritual author highlights the opportunity for mediums to work, warning them about the need to practice the teachings in the intimate sphere, in order to avoid returning to the Spiritual Plane without fulfilling the commitments made.

Missionaries of Light (published May 13, 1945)

In this book, André Luiz unveils the secrets of reincarnation, revealing the task of the missionary Spirits in charge of the rebirth process. The spiritual author tells us that physical death is not the end and highlights the importance of one's own efforts in the fight for self-improvement.
In twenty chapters, it discusses the continuation of learning in spiritual life, the perispirit as a living organization shaping material cells, reincarnation guided by Superior Spirits, and various aspects of mediumistic manifestations. Missionaries of Light teaches that Divine Providence always grants man new fields of work through the incessant renewal of life through reincarnation.

Workers for Eternal Life (published March 25, 1946)

In this book, André Luiz proves the principles revealed by the Spiritist Doctrine about the existence of the Spiritual World, where disembodied beings linger, living a new life and preparing themselves for their return to the earthly journey.
"(...) Death does not extinguish friendly collaboration, mutual support, comforting intercession, or evolutionary service. The vibratory dimensions of the Universe are infinite, as are the worlds that populate the Immensity. No one dies. Improvement continues everywhere. Life renews, purifies and elevates the multiple frames of its servants, leading them, victoriously and beautifully, to the Supreme Union with Divinity."

Liberation (published February 22, 19497)

In a moving narrative, André Luiz highlights the work of the Superior Spirits in the effort to convert the Spirit Gregório to the good, which culminates in the unforgettable reunion with his mother, a chosen Spirit, surrendering to the irresistible call of Love.
It also provides knowledge of the processes of action of unhappy Spirits, seeking to involve men in their procedures.
The spiritual author informs about the intercession carried out by the Superior Spirits for the benefit of men, giving divine mercy that grants everyone the blessed opportunity for liberation through study, work, and persevering service in the practice of good.

Between Heaven and Earth (published January 23, 1954)

This is a novel that offers us news about the relationship that exists in the activities of the Spirit on the two planes of life. Renewing his interest in our intimate improvement, André Luiz reveals the moving story of Amaro, Zulmira, Odila and other characters, going back to the events of their previous existences, from the Paraguayan War to the days of Old Rio.
In his preface, Emmanuel assures us that the “fundamental scenes of the narrative are intimately familiar to us” such as family imbalances, the torment of jealousy, the daily struggles to acquire moral progress. Each page of 'Between Heaven and Earth' unfolds new knowledge and emotions for the reader.

In the Realms of Mediumship (October 3, 1954)

In this volume, the 9th in the André Luiz Collection, the spiritual author focuses on the important aspect of communication with the physical world through mediumship.
Among other subjects, it addresses psychophony, sleepwalking, possession, clairvoyance, clairaudience, fascination, unfolding, psychometry and the phenomena of physical effects.
It is a very important book that complements the teachings contained in “The Book of Mediums”, one of the works of the Codification.

Action and Reaction (January 1, 1957)

The spiritual author describes the lower regions of Spirituality and the sufferings to which those with a guilty conscience condemn themselves after disembodiment.
It explains how the past is reflected in the present and how the future will be conditioned by what is done today. An unmissable read for anyone wishing to deepen their knowledge of the Spiritist Doctrine.

Mechanisms of Mediumship (1960)

A true treatise - with a scientific basis - on mediumship. It studies the mechanisms of the mediumistic phenomenon and explains new and valuable concepts about energy, the atom, the mental wave, nuclear chemistry, etc.
Defends the use of mediumship under the inspiration of the Gospel, which is the only one that guarantees a good outcome in mediumistic work.

Sex and Destiny (July 4, 1963)

It was dictated to two mediums: Waldo Vieira and Francisco Cândido Xavier. Taking advantage of a real story, the author leaves some advice from the Superior Spirituality about sex and destiny.
Sex is seen as a divine legacy, and the home as a sanctifying refuge, explaining very clearly that no one can harm another in their emotional gifts without later undergoing painful amendments.
The story presents two aspects: on the one hand, the guilty are subjected to tragic consequences and, on the other, the support for the defeated who accept the light of rectification. It also tells the story of delinquents of yesterday who are now redeemed, and who receive the blessing of becoming Messengers, in order to help redeem those who were once their victims.

And Life Goes On (1968)

The spiritual author presents a portrait of spiritual life after physical death, focusing on the relationship between the inhabitant of the Spiritual Plane and his mental condition01
It essentially tells the story of a couple (although with fictitious names to avoid embarrassment) and how they, helped by Spiritual Friends, dedicated themselves to study and work in order to be able to review the past and the plots that compromised them, giving them the possibility of designing new rules of procedure that will allow them to have a better evolution. André Luiz also recommends the practice of self-examination, in the certainty that life always goes on, full of hope and work.
