Our History

The history of the “Plenitude Spiritist Society” is the result of the union of workers of Christ, from the most diverse places and frequenters of various Houses, interested in the work and study of the Spiritist Doctrine. They brought doctrinal knowledge and a desire to work in the dissemination of Spiritism and for the benefit of needy creatures, incarnate and discarnate, emerging from this union the Mother Cell of the creation of the new house.

In February 2016, during the visit of the medium Divaldo Franco to Orlando, during a book signing session he emphasized the need to create another spiritualist center in the Orlando area, even saying that it was long overdue.

And given the need to serve the local population, including the Brazilian, American and Hispanic communities, it was decided to open the house in the Kissimmee region, as there were already two other Spiritist Centers in Orlando and there was nothing in the region.

'Plenitude' would meet this demand, meeting the needs of spiritualists and sympathizers who live in the area.

On August 5, 2016, the first meetings began, which were held weekly at the workers' homes.

As time went by and with the idea of opening a house in the Kissimmee region, it was decided to hold the meetings at the home of a worker who already lived in the region.

The name of the spiritist center “Plenitude Spiritist Society”, was suggested by editor Andreia Marshall of Edicei of America/Leal Publisher, inspired by the book by Joanna De Angelis (spirit) of the same title.

Joanna is the spiritual mentor of the medium Divaldo Franco, and the book “Plenitude” is a very important book that leads to the understanding of the process of spiritual growth, the narrative awakens people to spiritual achievement, and the word “Plenitude” has the same meaning in Portuguese and English.

As the work progressed, the number of attendees grew at each meeting and new people arrived and embraced the cause, creating the need to open a house for the group's activities.

On October 13, 2017, the “Plenitude Spiritist Society” opened its doors at its new address, and is now fully active in the Kissimmee region. The new home aims to provide support and assistance to the community in general, focused on the spiritual field, expanding knowledge of the doctrine.
